Day 10: Golf Courses and Feeding Magpies

Life is starting to settle in a bit, which is nice. Feeling like I’m not quite as much in flux as I was before. It’s nice to have a home base and not be thinking about when I have to pack my bag up again. Not that I know how long I’ll stay here, but feeling like I have more flexibility.  (Please ignore this formatting idk why it’s centered)

In the morning we ran some errands, taking Jenny to the masseuse and chiropractor and  I tried to get some of my banking stuff sussed out. I wasn’t successful, but we tried. Then we went to the local veggie market and got some good fruits and veg for dinner before going to grab Jenny.

After running some errands the magpies were ready for lunch and I feed them raw ground beef. The female is very cheeky, and is happy to come right in the door and startled me by hopping into my lap when I was feeding her. The kale was a bit more timid. He wasn’t sure if I was okay, and would snatch food and run off and eat it and then come back to snatch some more.

We chilled a little in the afternoon before Dean and I went to the golf course. Dean played a few holes in between showing me different plants, animals, and birds on the course.

We finished with a delicious dinner of coral trout collars and shrimp and blue cheese stuffed peppers, both were heavenly.
