Geraldton
The next day I continued on through the rain making my way towards Geraldton. The wind and rain roared and I pulled over on the side of the road for a number of naps and work breaks as I waited out the worst of the storms. I passed a peptobismal pink lake colored by Cyanobacteria and salts that was covered by a purple-blue hue of by the foggy rain. I slept at a rest stop along the coast before continuing south to Geraldton.
The next morning I drove to town where I had a delicious lemon curd donut and watched the storms over the beach. I visited some art markets and had some delicious laosion street food of jasmine curry rice balls. It was delicious. I spent the night outside of town at another rest stop but returned to spend a restful day in the library avoiding the rain.
The next day was still windy, but less rainy and I headed south stopping for a number of nice hikes along my trip to Eneabba.
